Dr. Surbhi

Ms Jasmine Kaur Bagga

Dr Surbhi did her MBBS and MD in Psychiatry in the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi. Thereafter, she worked as Senior Resident in the same institution. During the period she dealt with all around cases of Anxiety, Depression, Adult ADHD, Autism (Neurodivergence), Dissociative experiences. She strongly believes in psychopharmacological approach that is a combination of therapy and/or medicines (combining with life style changes, self care and most importantly self acceptance) 

She has also worked in rural parts of Punjab where she was heading the De-addiction centre in Sangrur District. She feels that along with medication, empathy and positive re-inforcement is the right way ahead for effective de-addiction and reintegration with the society.

Her care model is trauma informed, queer affirmative and person centered.

She also works closely with schools in Delhi NCR to provide mental health services to students to improve their overall well being.

Jasmine is a psychologist with BA Hons Psychology (University of Delhi) and MA Applied Psychology (specialising in clinical and counselling practice) TISS, Mumbai). She is dedicated to creating an empathetic and non-judgmental space where individuals can freely express their thoughts and emotions.

She has 3+ years of experience working with children and adolescents in school and community settings. Her work included conducting individual sessions, behavioural screening camps, group sessions for mental health awareness as well as teacher training sessions.

She is currently working in collaboration with Dr Surbhi to develop an integrated School Mental Health Program.

Jasmine strongly believes in respecting each person’s individuality and prioritizes this in her practice. In addition to traditional psychotherapy techniques, she incorporates innovative approaches such as systemic, intersectional, trauma-informed, art, narrative, yoga, and mindfulness-based therapies.
